Backyard Pickleball Court & Putting Green
This one was a blast to build. A local Sedona homeowner came to us with a clear goal — turn an underused outdoor space into something the whole family could actually enjoy. What we delivered was a two-in-one backyard setup: an official-spec pickleball court and a custom putting green, both built to hold up against everything Arizona can throw at them.

We started from scratch — literally. The area was fully excavated, tons of earth and rock were removed, and every native shrub was transplanted with care. If you've spent any time in Sedona, you know the terrain here doesn't make anything easy. That's exactly why we don't cut corners on prep work.
Over 75,000 lbs of base material — A/B and 1/4 minus Madison Gold — went into building a sub-base that'll handle freeze-thaw cycles, monsoon season, and everything in between. Laser leveled and thoroughly compacted, this is the kind of foundation that keeps your artificial turf installation looking and playing great year after year.

The pickleball court was built to official dimensions — roughly 1,760 square feet once you factor in the border and perimeter. We used the Pro Court 175SW with white lines cut directly into the rolls. No painted lines, no guesswork — just a clean, professional finish. The GB085 Olive border frames it perfectly and blends naturally with the surrounding Sedona landscape.
The putting green came in at around 285 square feet of playing surface, finished with our GB177-301 over 5mm padding for a smooth, true roll every time. The 140SW Olive fringe border ties both spaces together and gives the whole backyard a pulled-together, professional look.
